Women in Microwaves (WiM): “Prestigious Moment with Distinguished Women in Microwave”, the subset of Women in Engineering (WIE) working within the field of microwave engineering and typically active within the MTT society. WiM 2024 will highlight the significant contributions of exceptional women to the microwave theory and technology domain. The WiM event will be in APMC 2024, which is financial sponsored by MTTs.
This special event will be held on November 18th, 2024 at 5.30 – 7.30 pm. We plan to invite four esteemed Women in Microwaves known for their expertise and practical insights to share their valuable experiences with the participants. The main goal of this initiative is to establish a platform that promotes networking, sharing moment, and career development for women who are either already involved in or aspire to join the microwave field. We intend to host two distinguished speakers, recognized for their expertise, to share their invaluable experiences with the attendees.
The objectives of this program are to:
- Enable networking opportunities among female professionals and students within the microwave community.
- Motivate and assistance for career progression and leadership roles.
- Highlight the accomplishments and contributions of women in the microwave sector.
- Inspire young women to consider careers in the microwave field by providing them with role models and resources.
