Minh Thuy Le

Dr. Minh Thuy Le received her Engineer degree (2006) and M.S. degree (2008) in Electrical Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), and her Ph.D. degree (2013) in Optics and Radio Frequency from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France. In 2016, she conducted academic research at the mmWave Laboratory, Nagoya Institute of Technology. From 2022 to 2023, she was a Visiting Professor at the University of Technology Sydney. Since 2013, she has been a Senior Lecturer and the Radio Frequency Group Leader at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, HUST, Vietnam. Her interests include antenna, indoor localization, energy harvesting, wireless power transfer, and smart sensors.

Dr. Le Minh Thuy was selected as a Hitachi Research Fellowship Grantee by the Hitachi Global Foundation in 2016. She received the Scientist Award from the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training in 2020. In 2022, she was awarded the APEC Australia Women in Research Fellowship by the Australian Government. In 2023, she received the Encouragement Award from the 2023 Hitachi Global Foundation Asia Innovation Award for her project “Greenes: Greening the Future by Energy Harvesting Solutions from Ambient Sources.”

Dr. Le Minh Thuy has authored more than 80 publications. As a senior IEEE member, she serves as a reviewer and track chair for several international conferences and journals, including IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications, IEEE International Conference on Communications and Electronics, IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation, and IEEE International Conference on Telecommunications.
