Assoc Prof Ir Dr Fauziahanim Che Seman received the degree in electrical communication engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2001, the master’s degree from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from the Queen’s University of Belfast, U.K., in 2011. After the Master’s degree, she joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia as a Lecturer, where she is currently the Head of Research Center of Applied Electromagnetic. She has published a number of index journals and conference proceedings and taken various patents. Her research interests include Terahertz communications, radar microwave absorber, frequency selective surface, antenna design, copper access networks and recently in machine learning. She was also involved in the organizing committee for various conferences, such as the Technical Chair for the IEEE APMC 2017, IEEE RFM and IEEE APACE Conference series, AWPT 2021 and ISAP 2023. She was the Chairman of IEEE AP/MTT/EMC Malaysia Section in 2017-2020. She is the MTT-S WiM subcommittee since 2018 and actively initiated discussions related to Women in Microwave Engineering in Malaysia and Asia Region. Recently, she started to be involved with a Community Service Related (CSR) project funded under IEEE HAC Project.
